The first tin guarantee

The only way to know if PAX is for you is to try it. So if the first tin isn't for you, you get your money back.

Here is exactly how it works:

  • Open one tin from your order and give it a proper go.
  • If PAX isn't for you, get in touch within 30 days of delivery.
  • We'll refund the price of the tins in that order, including the tin you opened.
  • Any other tins from that order need to come back to us sealed and unopened.

A few specifics, so there are no surprises:

  • The guarantee covers one opened tin. If more than one tin has been opened, we can only refund the tins that are still sealed.
  • It applies to every order size, including a single tin. If you bought one tin and opened it, you are still covered.
  • Shipping charges are not refunded.
  • Return postage is at your cost, unless the product is faulty or we sent you the wrong thing.
  • One guarantee claim per customer.

How to make a claim

Email hello@paxenergy.co.nz with your order number and tell us you'd like to use the first tin guarantee. We'll reply with where to send any sealed tins. There are no forms to fill in.

Once we've received the sealed tins, we'll refund you to your original payment method. Refunds usually take 3 to 5 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders

If something arrives damaged or faulty, or isn't what you ordered, email hello@paxenergy.co.nz and we'll replace it or refund it in full, including any postage you have paid. This is separate from the first tin guarantee and is not limited to 30 days.

Subscriptions

You can skip, pause or cancel a PAX subscription at any time from your account, before your next order is processed. Once an order has been processed and shipped, the first tin guarantee above applies to it like any other order.

Your rights under New Zealand law

Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If a product is faulty or does not match its description, you have rights under that legislation regardless of anything stated here.
