Same caffeine.
You’re paying for the liquid.
All three carry about the same caffeine. Only one of them fits in your pocket.
We asked our 20 founding testers whether they’d drink less coffee or fewer energy drinks with PAX on hand. 18 said yes, two weren’t sure.
We gave 20 Kiwis a tin before we launched.
Here's what came back, word for word.

Testimonials
It was never the caffeine.
It was the cup.
Every coffee comes with a queue, a lid, a hand to hold it and a walk you didn’t have time for.
PAX is 100mg of caffeine — about the same as a coffee — in a pouch that sits under your top lip. No cup, no queue, no hands. It goes where a drink can’t.
You blamed the caffeine.
Check the sugar.
A 250ml energy drink carries 29g of sugar. A 500ml can, up to 55g.
PAX carries none: 100mg of caffeine, zero sugar, zero calories. No sugar crash, because there’s no sugar.
How to use PAX
Open the tin
Take out one pouch. That's one serving.
Park it up top
Tuck it between your top lip and gum. Don't chew or swallow the pouch. Enjoy the flavour burst.
Get on with it
A slight tingle on the gum is normal, and after a few minutes you stop noticing it's there. Move it around with your tongue whenever you like.
Bin it when done
Leave it in for 20 to 30 minutes, then straight in the bin. Never more than four a day.
When to PAX
Perfect for the moments a drink doesn't fit.
Long drive
On the tools
Work or study
3pm slump
Pre-workout
Late shift
How does PAX compare?
Same caffeine as your usual order. None of the sugar, the calories or the queue.

Questions?
Good.
New format, fair enough. Here's everything people ask us before their first tin.
Shop PAXIs there nicotine in PAX?
No. Zero nicotine, zero tobacco, and that will never change. PAX is a caffeine pouch: 100mg of caffeine, flavour, and nothing that doesn't belong in your mouth. It's for adults 18 and over.
What do they actually taste like?
Six flavours: Grape & Blackcurrant, Cherry Cola, Cool Mint, Mixed Berries, Strawberry Kiwi and Sweet Peach. All sugar-free, all zero calories. Taste is personal, which is exactly why your first tin is guaranteed. Not for you? You're covered.
Will one little pouch actually do anything?
Every pouch carries a measured 100mg of caffeine, the same in every tin, about what you'd get from one coffee. How that lands is personal and depends on what you're used to, so we're not going to promise you a feeling. We'll stand behind it instead: your first tin is guaranteed.
How much caffeine is in one pouch?
100mg, about the same as one coffee, measured the same every single time. One pouch is one serving, and never more than 4 pouches (400mg) in a day. Contains caffeine: too much can cause a faster heart rate, nervousness, irritability or trouble sleeping. Not for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or anyone sensitive to caffeine.
How do I use one?
Pop a pouch between your top lip and gum and leave it there. Don't chew or swallow the pouch. The flavour comes through once it mixes with your saliva, and a slight tingle on the gum is normal. Give it 20 to 30 minutes, move it around with your tongue whenever you like, then take it out and bin it. They're slim, so they sit flat and stay put. Hands free the whole time.
Who makes PAX?
PAX is New Zealand owned and run. The pouches are made for us by Tough Code Ltd, an established pouch manufacturer in the United Kingdom, and we hold the New Zealand exclusivity on them.
What if I don't like them?
Love your first tin or your money back. Open one tin and give it a proper go. If PAX isn't for you, email us within 30 days and we'll refund the tins, including the one you opened. Any others come back sealed. No forms, no fuss.
How long will it take to arrive?
We ship from our Auckland HQ within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. From there it's usually 1 to 2 days to the North Island and 2 to 3 days to the South Island. Our couriers do their best to get it there next day, but that depends on where you are, and rural deliveries can take a bit longer.
What does shipping cost?
$6 flat, anywhere in New Zealand, and free on every order over $29, which every multi-tin pack clears.
